Lemon Street Classic: Peachtree Ridge holds on

Marietta, GA – Peachtree Ridge held its collective breath as a team until the final buzzer.

The Lions beat Calhoun, 59-58, in its final game of the Lemons Street Classic on Tuesday at Marietta High School. Peachtree Ridge improved to 11-2 on the season.

This was a game where neither team was allowed to extend its lead too far. Peachtree Ridge took the final lead of the game senior Rashad Dames nailed a corner 3-pointer late in the quarter. It was his second consecutive three-pointer, which helped the Lions get a small edge over Calhoun. He finished with 12 points.

Sophomore Connor Teasley led the Lions with a team-high 18 points. Senior Khush Chauhan added 10 points in the victory.

Calhoun was led by Dylan Faulkner. The 6-foot-9 Lipscomb signee finished with a game-high 20 points. Landon Chattam chipped in with 13 points.
