Lemon Street Classic: Dutchtown outlasts Albany

Marietta, GA – Dutchtown’s comeback late in the fourth quarter was enough to bounce back into the win column.

The Bulldogs trailed through most of the game before the final 2 minutes of the game to outlast Albany (NY) Academy, 58-55, in Tuesday’s Lemon Street Classic at Merietta High.

Leading the charge for Dutchtown was senior Adrian Avery. The 6-foot-3 wing scored a game-high 20 points. Braxton Cooley played big at 6-foot-5 to get 10 points and 7 reboounds.

Cyris Matia was solid for Albany Academy scoring a team-high 16 points. Elijah Godbolt chipped in with 10 points. Bobby Chandler added seven points.
