HS Boys preview: North Cobb Warriors

POWDER SPRINGS, Ga. – North Cobb comes into the 2021-22 season young, really young.
The Warriors are going to lean on the leadership and experience of Alex Acosta and Evan Daniel. Both are considered the elder spokesman of the team.
Acosta is a 6-foot-6 forward with a high motor and a relentless knack for grabbing rebounds. He will be the team’s focal point on both ends of the floor. This senior is vocal, who is excited about the season ahead.
“I have been playing with these guys for a couple of years,” he said. “I am accustomed to knowing what they do. We have become really close and being able to lead them into battle should be fun.”
Daniel, a 6-foot-6 wing, brings a level of poise needed to help guide the younger guys on the team. He knows the responsibility will be daunting but it is a challenge he will accept.
“It is a lot,” he said. “The team has to depend on you to know what to do. You’ve to make sure they have done everything right.”
