Outlook: This is an experienced group of players on the Falcons roster. Nine seniors are ready to soar and take this program to new heights. The team has shown tremendous progress and growth in the offseason and through the early parts of practice. They are coming together off the court, always looking to help one another.
One of those seniors is Jack Burney. This combo guard is an efficient shooter. He comes off screens looking to knock down shots. His poise and efficiency have helped him become one of the teams returning scorers. He knows how a lot of the nuances of the game as a coach’s son. This will be the last year he will play for his father, which they both relish.
“It is special,” Falcons’ head coach said. “It is hard on him at times. It is a blessing.”
“He gets on me the most,” Jack added. “He wants the best for me.”
Look for these Falcons to contend for a playoff spot in a new region. The experience on the roster is seasoned and ready to show what they can do. Getting to one of the four playoff spots out of the region will not be easy but they will be up to the task against the likes of Jefferson, and Winder-Barrow
