Elite 24: Players show out Day 1 of Under Armour practice

NEW YORK, NY – Some of the nations best high school players will call New York City home for three days.
Players are in town to play in the 10th annual Under Armour Elite 24 game in Brooklyn on Saturday. There were parents, media and NBA scouts in attendance for the practice on Thursday.
Here are some players that made a point to standout in Day 1.
Josh Jackson was impressive several weeks ago and that continued. The five-star wing has an easy flow in his ability to score. He got the rim with ease and knocked down shots from all over the floor.
His game will continue to improve on the offensive end. Jackson showed, however, the ability to play the other end of the floor. He was locked in and always looking to contest a shot whenever possible.
Any schools or NBA scouts looking for a post player, Udoka Azubuike (pictured) is going to be one many will talk about down the road. The 6-foot-11 Nigerian made sure the rims at the Manhattan gym help his force. Azubuike slammed just about everything when he touched the ball. Sure, he will need to expand his game with time but at the Elite 24 practice he was just a man. The rims at the Brooklyn Pier will need tightened this weekend.
Trevon Duval was the best floor general in the gym. The Delaware native dribbled through traffic with ease. He sees the floor and finds open teammates when many in attendance even expect it. Duval pushes the pace but does not over dribble to get to where he needs to go. Look for the Class of 2017 prospect to continue to have a strong showing.
