The tug-of-war for some of the nations top high school players has heated up immensely.

Nike released their roster of Elite Youth Basketball League players to play against the Bahamian National Select Team in the Bahamas. This comes on the heel of CBS Sports’ Gary Parrish reporting a week ago that Nike was going to create an event that would be taking place at the same time as the annual Elite 24 event in New York City. Nike’s event is scheduled for August 20-22 in the Bahamas.

Apparently, Nike does not want any of their EYBL players wearing UA sneakers on ESPN, which televises the Elite 24. Many on the current EYBL roster headed to the Bahamas were either already invited to the Elite 24 or were targets to be invited. Many who are on the EYBL all-stars team headed to the Bahamas played in the UA event last year.

Here is the EYBL roster.
