Wright commits to Morehead State

Waycross, GA – After an official visit over the Labor Day weekend, Jarvis Wright didn’t waste any time in making a commitment.

One of Georgia’s more efficiency 2025 shooters committed to Morehead State University on Monday. Wright picked the Eagles over North Florida.

Wright, a 6-foot-2 shooting guard, is a senior at Ware County High. His numbers in a Gators uniform were impressive.

He averaged 24 points a game, shooting 42% from three-point range, hitting 110 triples on the season. Wright score a career-high 47 points last season against Greenbrier nailing 12 three-pointers. These numbers earned him Region 1-AAAAA Offensive Player of the Year. Wright helped lead Ware County to the Class AAAAA state playoffs. This season Ware County are in Region 1-AAAA.
