Suwanee, GA – The beauty of the Tip-off Classic is getting a shot to see some talented players before many college programs get to see them during the Live Period.
Many of them showed they will be hard to be overlooked. These players stormed into Atlanta impacting winning. Here are some players an eye should be kept on this spring and summer.
Jones had an impressive weekend. The shifty and crafty point guard played much larger than his 5-foot-7 stature. He orchastrated the NightRyders offense at a high level. His heart and desire made is hard for taller players to keep with him physically or in the open floor. Jones touched the paint on every transition helping lead the South Florida-based organization to an undefeated weekend.
George is what every college program wants on the roster. He is versatile 6-foot-7 forward the ability to play inside and outside. He extends the floor with his shooting range whenever he’s not posting opponets up inside. The Amsterdam native has a good looking frame. Look for his stock to rise because of the consistency in his shot and the poise in his game.
Tillery is poised to have an explosive travel season. The 6-foot-5 is spectacular in the open floor punshing the rim at any opportunity possible. He shoots the ball well, which makes him difficult to defend. His skills, mixed with athleticism, smothered with passion is all coming together this spring to jump on the recruiting lists of many college programs.
We want more of Mr. Moore. When you see this forward on the floor it is hard to not like his game. His length is usued correctly on both ends of the floor. He can hit the midrange jumper and crashes the boards. Moore is a winner and it shows by his play. This Georgia High 5A championship MVP has tremendous poise and determination. He is another Knights product who will garner plenty of attention this travel season.
A name many will soon learn. The 6-foot-5 wing is really smooth on the floor. He shot the ball well all weekend. It allowed him to extend the floor that later opened up driving lanes for him throughout the games. A start like this and continued work will help this young man garner attention.
