White closing in on 2,000 points

AJ White is approaching another milestone. The unsigned senior recorded a double-double with 22 points and 11 assists in Chattahoochee’s win on Tuesday. A few days after becoming the school’s all-time leading scorer, White is only 16 points from reaching 2,000 points. The Cougars travel to Johns Creek on Friday.

Tremain Davis, II continues his hot scoring. This 6-foot-5 junior has been torching the nets as of late and it continued Tuesday night dropping 32 points in defeat. He entered the game averaging 23 points a game from the teams previous two games.

Devon Barnes continues to be the straw that stirs the Shiloh Generals’ in wins. The unsigned senior poured in 26 points and dropped off five dimes over county-foe Discovery.

Shepherd’s big night leads Comets

South Gwinnett’s Kevon Shepherd had a big night. The 6-foot-5 senior had 31 points for the Comets. He also grabbed five rebounds and recorded three blocks in the win.

Cass’ Zaylan Chaney filled up the scoresheet himself. The 6-foot-6 junior had 29 points in defeat.
