ATLANTA, GA – Being one of the most sought out players in the country Christian Fussell decided to narrow down his choices.

The 6-foot-10 forward now is looking to schedule visits toMiddle Tennessee State, Virginia Commonwealth, UNC Charlotte, Saint Louis and Florida Gulf Coast. All these programs watched the Greenforest Academy product since April perform on the circuit with Team Forrest.

In the process, the college programs had a chance to watch Fussell extend the floor with his jumper. He showed the ability to finish around the rim, while displaying the ability to bye a rim protector.

They studied and have taken notes on Fussell.

Now, it is his turn to offer up why these five programs made the cut.

Virginia Commonwealth: “I have talked and built a solid relationship with the entire staff. They have a tough national schedule. They’re a winning team with great tradition.”

Middle Tennessee: “They recruited me the hardest. They had one of the toughest schedules in the country. I’ll get to play right away. It is close to home.”

Saint Louis: “Coach (Travis Ford) knows how to help me get to the next level. This caught my eye.”

Charlotte: “Coach (Ron Sanchez) came from the University of Virginia. He was part of them building and winning a national champion. I want to be part of what he is building and change the in Charlotte. It also is a nice city.”

Florida Gulf Coast: “Me and the head coach (Micheal Fly) has been talking for a while. The school is on the beach, which is nice.”

Fussell, who is interested in studying business, stated enjoying how each program played, since it is appeal.

“I’m looking to see which program is going to push me,” he said. “I just want to reach the next level.”
