Norcross Heat has a solid 16U group

Snellville, GA – The Norcross Heat have continued to build a solid travel program over the last few years. This was the first stop of many on the travel team tour. We are profiling organizations/teams for the upcoming season.

They have operated as an independent program in the past. Now, the Gwinnett-based program has joined the Pro16 NXT League sponsored by Puma. The program’s status will be elevated the mission will remain the same which is to build a program focused on getting players better.

The 16U team is one filled with length and skills. This team finished second in the most recent tournament it played. They are now headed into the Atlanta NXT Puma Circuit this weekend at Next Play 360 in Marietta.

Heat’s schedule is set with games against OTP NXT on Friday at 5:30 pm. Then Florida Bayhawks NXT on Saturday at 9:05 am. It will conclude with two games on Sunday against Bama Celtics NXT (9:05 am) Clarksville Crossover NXT (12:20 pm).

Norcross 2026 head coach Ricky Dunston and assistant Ricardo Williams are excited about their roster loaded with hungry players.

Andre Sherrod (Berkmar), Landon Williams (Mill Creek), Elijah Mayfield (Lakeview Academy), Enzo Wea (Norcross), Xavier McCoy (Winder-Barrow), Brandon Odom (Collin Hill), Troy Stiggers(Parkview), Tyler Williams (Grayson), Mason Houston (Central Gwinnett), Alex Blurton (Mill Creek), and Mehki Barber (Lakeview Academy). They pushed one another hard in practice in preparation for the weekend.
