Swish Scout x BTS Report week 2 notebook

By Robert Alfonso Jr.

Atlanta, GA – The second week of the inaugural Swish Scout x BTS Report Fall League gave us some of the game teams, while some other teams were making its debut. Every game was competitive and gave us marquee matchups.

Here is a list of players who made an impression or helped carry their team to victory. There are names basketball fans will hear about this season. Some names have carved their presence into the minds of college programs and continue to carry their teams.

Demari Bailey | 2026 | PG | Griffin remains one of the most underrated floor generals in the sate. Anyone who gets to see him in person will appreciate who he is as a player. The Bears floor general took control of the game late when they needed him the most. He contribute to the teams last eight points, including the game-winning free throws. Bailey is a leader who knows how to get everyone involved before he needs to take over the game. This quiet leader is always going to compete.

Gordon Davis | 2026 | CG | Therrell made his fall league debut and did not disappoint. This 6-foot guard is an explosive scorer. There were shots he made that could have generated high scores for its degree of difficulty. While he hasn’t played since the end of the summer, Davis showed little rust and was just in a rhythm in the Panthers offense. His presence makes this team go finishing with 16 points in a 47-30 win over New Hampton.

Xavier Butler | 2027 | F | North Cobb Christian was the best interior player on the weekend. His fluid movement combined with strength at 6’7 causes so much problems for any team. He put his skills on display for 10 points, 12 rebounds, 2 blocks and a handful of assists. His presence gives NCCS an imposing player and rim protector.

Landon Thomas | 2026 | C | Newnan is a prospect college coaches must go check-in on. He imposed his 6’9 frame and dominated the paint dunking just about every ball that came into his space. His athleticism and strength helped him secure rebounds outside of his area. Whenever he wasn’t dunking the ball he showed a soft touch around the rim.

Isaiah Chandler | 2027 | G | North Cobb Christian is a name many need to get to know. He is a well built guard who is explosive with a comfortable feel for the game Everything he does is to make sure things are running smoothly for NCCS. He is fundamentally sound and methodical on how he’s going to attack the paint. As he goes to execute Chandler finishes through contact or delivers an uber athletic play. He is an efficient scorer with a collegiate ready body.

Robert Sullivan | 2026 | F | Griffin has not been with the Bears much due to football. He stepped onto the basketball court this week to be the teams energy giver, which is contagious. This leader is about getting the team fired up on either end of the floor. He gets himself going pulling down contested rebounds, which turns into transition opportunities for him. This high flyer slices through the air and finishes at a high level.

Kaiden Union | 2026 | PG | Locust Grove had himself a solid outing against a relentless Griffin team. At one point, the 6-footer was the best leader on the floor. He was vocal and meticulous in running the Wildcats offense, while also scoring then in bunches to help stay in a toe-to-toe battler with the Bears. Union showed he has the heart and skills to compete against some of the other talented guards in the state.

Ashton Poole | 2027 | CG | Stockbridge put anyone on notice, these Tigers will be a hard out this season. The pesky guard dashed through defenders and lived in the paint for a comeback win. He refused to let the Tigers fall short hitting floaters and jumpers. His footwork helped disrupt Whitewater’s offense to pull out a 43-30 victory

Darron Harris | 2026 | G | New Hampton showed a unique ability to work through tough defenses. He is a 6-footer with a strong build not shying from contact. His role will change as New Hampton is going through transition. He will make a difference because of his demeanor of leading through example.

Onyx Stallings | 2026 | G | Stephenson will fit in just nicely with the Jaguars new coaching staff. He is a fiery defender, who found ways to score without being the primary ball handler. His active hands found themselves in plenty of passing lanes. He made some plays down the stretch to help Stephenson secure a win over East Jackson.

Shawmar Fordham | 2027 | G | South Cobb is a name that will flourish under the new coaching staff. He played with energy on both ends of the floor, while being disruptive to its opponents. His ability to get into the lane and score at will helped secure a win over Stephenson.

Daniel Collins | 2027 | G | Whitewater is a 6-foot combo guard who helped facilitate the offense and knew when to strike on offense. He has a good mid-range jumper. This helped him keep the defense off-balance for a team-high 13 points in a win over Stone Mountain.

Alvin Pettway Jr | 2029 | C | McEachern is a name to track in the class. He is a 6’4 interior player who was trusted into the Indians lineup this week and didn’t disappoint. There were moments he did not look like an incoming freshman. Pettway has soft hands and touch around the rim. He is not afraid to get physical. Look for him to be apart of the varsity lineup sooner than later with more development and strength because he has enough of a feel to belong.
