OTR Sweet Sixteen Stock Risers

Marietta, GA – The first NCAA Live Period is the first time college coaches can see high school players. This evaluation is usually just a glance because many will see them again with their high school programs in June. Those college programs who did attend the first session had a chance to see which players had been working on their game.

Here is a list of players whose stock rose during the On The Radar Hoops Sweet Sixteen.

2025 | Braden Moore | Georgia Canes | Point Guard

Moore has been a favorite since March. The Lee County High product continues to show he is a floor general with a winning spirit. He handles the ball well with pressure and tight spots dissecting defenders like a science experiment. His court vision led to timely passes putting teammates in tremendous scoring opportunities. Moore’s midrange game is deadly for a player with his wiggle. His swag is not always seen on a player like him just ascending in recognition. The more coaches see him play, the more they will notice he is ready for the next level. Arkansas Pine-Bluff was intrigued enough to extend him an offer.

2025 | Joshua Xiang | Game Speed Elite | Guard

Shooting is at a high premium on the recruiting trail for college programs. Xiang is a player many may want to watch at some point this travel season. The Bishop Snyder product was a marksman over the weekend nailing a number of three-pointers, including six of them in one particular game. He also has the ability to handle the ball against pressure. This is an added bonus for this Gainesville-based, Florida program. Xiang’s poise and feel for the game helps keep things in control. He continues to shoot it the way he did over the weekend it would be hard for any program to ignore his production.

2026 | Malik Gillespie | Warner Robins All-Stars | Guard

Showed tremendous athleticism all weekend. He showed the ability to score the basketball while also finishing well above the rim on several plays. His lateral quickness and explosive first step allow him a pathway to the rim, where he will finish through contact. The consistent midrange jumper kept defenders off balance. His range has improved too with the three-point jumper becoming a much-needed weapon in the toolbelt. Gillespie, who already holds an offer from Georgia State, picked up an offer from Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

2026 | Dillion Nixon | Bo Bell | Point Guard

This is a name many programs will soon become familiar with on the hardwood. Nixon is a true floor general with a stoic demeanor. He plays with confidence and poise not always seen by players his age. The Buford High product has a consistent midrange jumper and plays off of two feet in the lane. His jumper beyond the three-point line is fluid. Look for him to have a productive June and July ahead.

2027 | Miles Morrell | Lakeland Spartans | Point Guard

Being a smaller guard can be hard to get some recognition. There is something they have to do in order to standout. Morrell had some impactful moments on the weekend. In one game, he helped the Spartans take the lead without scoring the ball with defensive steals and timely passes to open teammates. These plays made a difference. He was locked in and focused on being a pesky defender.
