MARIETTA, GA – The annual Southern Hoops Report Showcase provides athletes an opportunity to showcase what they have done since the end of the high school season.

This is the last individual camp many of these players will attend before joining their high school team for the month of June. Here are some players who stood out.

2022 Alex Acosta | North Cobb | made an impact from the opening game and never let up. The 6-foot-6 product is a ball of energy. His performance to go after every possible rebound or any loose ball is rare to see at an individual camp. Acosta also showed the ability to defend the rim. He maneuvered inside with a strong ability to score. College coaches will get a chance to see him and like his intangibles.

2022 Robert Dix Jr. | TBD | is an intriguing prospect coaches need to know if they have not don so yer. He is a 6-foot-7 wing who can the floor and execute high performing finishes above the rim. He is versatile enough to handle the ball in the open court. Dix is an exceptional rebounder in traffic. A three-level scorer will make sure to deliver on the floor. He will be rolling with Legacy this summer. Pack snacks because Dix will provide you with the skills you want from a player,.

2022 Brasen James | Evans | is a player you need to see in person to appreciate his value. The 6-foot-3 wing is a superior athlete, who can shoot the ball. He plays relentless defense. His motor is on constant go. James will have you writing down something about it the entire time. The June session at Lakepoint will be where college coachers will appreciate him.

2022 Braden Sparks | McEachern | played like a player ready to run a program. This floor general was calculated in running the offense and getting to the rim. He played with energy. The Indians are under new leadership on the sideline. Sparks brings the poise and IQ into June and July, he will make sure everyone else will learn his name.

2022 Trevon Payton | Shiloh | has shown the time the gym has not been wasted. The 6-foot-5 forward looks good in his skills and strength. He was punishing the rim in the open floor. Payton knocked down shots from all over the floor. During the high school season there was a thought he could have a breakout summer. After watching him this highly skilled player is headed in the right direction.

2021 Ryan Little | East Coweta | displayed a skill coaches would like with their program. He shot the ball with consistency. Shot after shot found the bottom of the net. Little came up big in a few moments showing off his athleticism a few times. A small college program could certainly use the skills Little displayed on the weekend.

2023 Kenric Lanier | Decatur | is a young prospect to watch. This guard is tactical and intentional with many of his moves. At 6-foot-4 he played downhill and was always on the attack. He used angles to get inside while keeping defenders off balanced. Lanier is also explosive.

2023 Reginald Kennedy Jr. | Fayette County | is a true point guard. He puts teammates in good scoring position. His ability to orchestrate the offense was solid. Kennedy was fun to watch because of his desire to run the team. He can get his one buckets but thrives on sharing the ball.

2024 Jaden Roberts | Jackson | was impressive. He played the game hard by being active on both ends of the floor. Roberts finishes around the rim and is a solid defender. Invest in this one early because the returns could be big.

2024 Ryan Williams | North Paulding | was not the most imposing person. He was the prime example where Heart of Height. This rising sophomore showed plenty of poise playing against bigger and stronger players. Williams ran the team and shot the ball really well. Looking forward to seeing his growth.
